How to Be a Solution Seeker
What if the dialog in your head went something like this, “I always find a way out of whatever situation I find myself in.” Being a solution seeker first requires you believing that you have the answers within you. It is an inside job. Where focus goes energy flows and when you direct yourself to what is possible you will find it.
Your dialog can go as follows when looking to be a Solution Seeker…
I enjoy the challenge of problem solving! Using my creativity and resourcefulness to stare at a problem until I find a solution, and taking my time to look at it from all possible angles and then try out different ideas until the solution comes to me.
When I solve an issue, I build confidence in my ability to tackle future problems.
I am confident because I have no preconceived notions about myself or my predicament. Rather than that, I wholeheartedly accept the current circumstances.
I can look at a situation, think about it for a long time, and then try out different solutions until the problem is solved.
My way of thinking does not include the idea that I might not be able to solve a problem. I can solve any problem that comes my way if I am persistent and think about it carefully.
Today, I’m going to examine a problem and use my brains, ingenuity, and tenacity to come up with a solution. I appreciate problem solving because it challenges me and builds my confidence.
